Pastoral Appreciation

How can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
- Romans 10:15 (CSB)

PASTORAL APPRECIATION

Dr. Fred & Denise Batten

October is observed as National Clergy Appreciation Month.  During this time, a day is set aside as “Pastor Appreciation Day” — to celebrate pastors and to recognize the contributions and services of pastors along with their wives in serving their parishioners.

Church members, on Pastor Appreciation Day, once-a-year, come together to express their personal gratitude.

Many congregations observe the day by taking up a special offering to bless their pastors with. Other congregations may show their gratitude through different means such as honoring their pastors with meals, gifts, monetary contributions, and even paid vacations.

October is Pastoral Appreciation Month. During this timeframe, love will be shown through a special recognition program wherein all expressions of appreciation for our God sent Pastor and his beloved wife will be acknowledged.

Your presence is hereby requested on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 5:30 pm as we recognize our Pastor, Dr & Mrs. Fred Batten Jr. Mount Olivet’s First Family, for their tireless work in ministry to lead people to the Kingdom of God, through our church by preaching and teaching the gospel across our community and through online platforms.

Ways to give your personal gift of appreciation to our Pastor, Dr. & Mrs. Fred Batten Jr. is to bring your gift with you to the appreciation program on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 5:30 pm to the church to be presented to them.

Next, if you are unable to attend the program, you may bring or send your gift to the church located at 649 NW 15th Way Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311, during Divine Worship Service this Sabbath from 11am - 12:30 pm.

Finally, you may contact either Mrs. Laticia Murray or Ms. Vickie Garner to arrange for your gift to be presented to our honorees, Dr. Fred Batten and Mrs. Denise Batten in your absence by emailing mosdawebsm@gmail.com.

We thank you in advance and God bless you!
